Ultimate Functional Training 4 Week Program

A 4 week program that uses more functional alternatives to the traditional push and pull lifts we usually see in most training routines.

Note: This program requires the use of barbells, dumbbells, cable pulley machines, cardiovascular equipment etc. We do however provide a list of alternatives should you be missing some kit.

The aim of this 4 week program is to move away from some of the traditional push and pull lifts we usual see in most training routines and introduce some more functional alternatives that have more realistic payoff in the real world.

For this reason you will see a significant reduction in the bi-lateral (two arm or legged) versions of exercise in favor of uni-lateral training methods.

This in an intermediate/ advanced routine as it involves some tough technical lifts and some heavy loads.

The next week 4 weeks are broken up into 2 phases. A functional strength and fitness building phase where we focus on building muscle, technical skill and co-ordination.

The second phase is for functional strength using heavier loads.
